2 Injured After Chase Of Stolen Car Ends In Crash In Danbury DANBURY, Conn. — An off-duty police officer's pursuit of a stolen car Thursday morning ended in a crash that left two people with serious injuries, according to the Danbury Police Department. At about 10:35 a.m., a Danbury Police Officer working an extra-duty job in the area of Main Street and Center Street saw a vehicle that he knew to be stolen, police said.
