Westport Violist Headlines String Ensemble's Holiday Concert WESTPORT, Conn. — The Pizzazz Strings Ensemble, featuring Westport violist Sarah Smale, will perform a holiday concert Sunday in the Westport Library's McManus Room. The ensemble will perform holiday selections that include Baroque master Vivaldi, Strauss waltzes and jazzy and pop Christmas and Hanukkah favorites. The program is free and open to the public. Westport Production Of Agatha Christie Mystery Boasts Large Cast Of Locals WESTPORT, Conn. -- The cast of the Westport Community Theatre's production of Agatha Christie's murder-mystery "Witness for the Prosecution" includes 14 local actors familiar to theatre audiences throughout Fairfield County.  The production, which is directed by Tom Rushen, runs through Sunday, Dec. 11. Set in post-war London of the 1950s, the play is a “whodunit” with numerous plot twists and turns that keep the audience guessing until the very last scene. Brookfield Police Reintroduce Child Safety Seat Installation Program BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- The Brookfield Police Department announced that it has reintroduced its Child Safety Seat Installation Program in an effort to save the lives of children. As part of the program, officers will once again install and check child safety seats for residents. Three out of four child seats are installed improperly, according to the department.
