Charles Riordon died in the Friday, Nov. 3 blaze, which broke out on the 100 block of North Avenue around 4:50 p.m., Garwood police said. Those who knew Riordon remembered him as a violinist. Jersey City Teen Busted For 10 Vehicle Break-Ins: Secaucus Police A 16-year-old Jersey City teenage boy was arrested and charged with breaking into 10 vehicles in Secaucus on Friday, Nov. 3, authorities said. The break-ins occurred throughout Secaucus and all the vehicles were unlocked, police said. He was charged with numerous counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit theft, burglary and theft, police said. He was issued a juvenile complaint summons and released into custody of an adult, police said.

Armed Man Apprehended Following Pursuit: Jersey City Police A 30-year-old man was arrested in Jersey City on Saturday, Oct. 28 for being armed with a firearm following a pursuit with police, authorities said. At 2:23 a.m. police attempted to stop Byron Harrison at 169 Monticello Ave. Harrison fled the scene police gave chase, eventually apprehending Harrison, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. Harrison was charged with several weapons offenses, including unlawful possession of a weapon, and for being in possession of several controlled substances, Wallace-Scalfione said.
