North Arlington Starz Cheerleaders Win Recreation Championship NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Mayor Joseph Bianchi and the council presented the North Arlington Starz Cheerleaders with a proclamation June 9 for placing first in their division at the national competition at Virginia Beach. Album shared her story of growing up in a religious family in a wonderful, accepting community. Her story included her experiences being segregated in her own community, moving to a Jewish ghetto and then being sent to a forced labor camp. Ossining Students Participate In Minds In Motion At Jacob Burns Center OSSINING, N.Y. -- Eileen A. Kanganis and Emily Crampton's fourth-grade class from Claremont Elementary in Ossining participated in Minds in Motion, a program run by the Jacob Burns Film Center, at Claremont School.The kids learned all about making movies and got to see their finished product on Friday at the movie theater along with four other classes. They got to dress up and walk the red carpet for their movie premiere. Many of the parents came to see the movies, and the students all got an award for participating in the program.
