Beasley was acknowledged during the LHRIC’s 2016 annual Pioneer Awards at Edith Macy Conference Center last month. The Pioneer Awards recognize innovative uses of technology that change teaching and learning. Beasley was honored for leading the district forward in its use of technology.

All papers should be removed from binders. Paper can be brought to the recycling center in plastic bags, but all plastic bags must be removed when shredding. Kent Library Celebrates Big Truck Day KENT LAKES, N.Y. -- More than 390 people, mostly parents and children, turned out to see the big trucks gathered at Kent Public Library on Saturday, June 4, for this year's "Big Truck and Community Vehicle Day." In addition to a fire truck, police van, construction equipment and well drillers, the event included a former tank belonging to the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.
