Eastchester Middle School Students Create Google Club EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- A group of sixth-grade students from Eastchester Middle School created a Google Club as a way to teach other students how to navigate Google Classroom and take advantage of its many educational tools. The “student teachers” create lesson plans with games to learn about slides, forms, drawings, maps, hangouts, screencastify, snagit and more. Students can have fun and be creative while learning valuable educational tech tools that will help them to succeed in and outside the classroom. The club is facilitated by library media specialist Eleanor Schuster.

Ho-Ho-Kus Library Features Henna Workshop HO-HO-KUS, N.J. -- Worth-Pinkham Memorial Library in Ho-Ho-Kus will host a workshop on the body art form known as henna on Thursday, June 30.Professional henna artist Hayat Gul will discuss henna's origins and its uses today. Guests can get all-natural henna designs, applied by Gul, that last one to two weeks. Those with allergies should check the ingredients: henna powder, sterilized water, eucalyptus oil, rose water and sugar. The workshop is for young people ages 10-18. Space is limited.
