Bruce Museum's Miniature Exhibition Is Always A Big Draw In Greenwich GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Bruce Museum's miniature exhibition, "Small Scales: Lands of Enchantment," will open on Saturday and run through Jan. 29 in Greenwich. The miniatures show has been a biennial Bruce Museum tradition for 35 years, and this year’s exhibition draws together artists who depict landscapes on a small scale. Walk The Labyrinth At Norwalk Community College To Discover Love NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Community College hosted its Sixth Annual NCC Feather Labyrinth recently at the East Campus on the hill between Richards Avenue and the north parking lot. NCC faculty, staff, students, alumni and neighbors constructed on Oct. 8, a feather labyrinth built from more than 1,200 primary wing feathers naturally molted by Canada geese and collected in Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport last June.Titled “The Infinite Heart," the labyrinth was designed and engineered by NCC professor Renae Edge who oversaw the construction. Girls In Greenwich Can Learn How Positive Thinking Improves Self-Esteem GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Junior League of Greenwich recently launched a community project designed to help young girls build self-esteem. The name of the project is Positively More, and it focuses on girls ages 11 and 12. Stamford Firefighter Recognized By Community Theater For Volunteerism STAMFORD, Conn. -- Retired Stamford Firefighter Tom Hadden was named Volunteer of the Year by nonprofit theater organization Curtain Call at a ceremony on Sunday, Oct. 23.
