Larchmont Public Library Displays Art By 'Natural Artists' From Rye
LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- The Oresman Gallery at the Larchmont Public Library will open the exhibit, "Pathways Through Nature," featuring art by Rye artists Silvia Gesing and Lorraine Mignone, on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
The exhibit will be on display through Monday, Jan. 30.
The exhibit of pastels and oils represent the more recent works of these two artists, according to a release from the Larchmont Public Library. The scenic, original works of art were inspired by the natural world – its beauty, endless variety of subject matter and layers of color, the release said.

Registration Open For Spring Courses At Norwalk Community College
NORWALK, Conn. -- Students wishing to register for Norwalk Community College's spring 2017 semester can do so anytime, and there will be walk-in registration sessions in January.
Registration has been open since Nov. 1. New students can come in weekdays during business hours to register, and current students can register anytime online.
Walk-in registration sessions will also be held in NCC’s East Campus Atrium on the following dates and times:
Tuesday, Jan. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 4, from 3 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 7, TBA.
