Norwalk's Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum Receives $10K From GE Capital
NORWALK, Conn. -- GE Capital recently awarded a $10,000 grant to Norwalk's Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum’s Education Program.
With this grant, the museum plans to serve a greater population of students and continue to offer this National Historic Landmark as a site where students can learn, in stimulating and engaging ways, mid-to-late 19th century history, art, architecture, and technology.

Photographers Invited To Submit Images For Juried Fairfield Museum Exhibit
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfiield Musician & History Center is accepting submissions for its ninth annual IMAGES 2017 Juried Photography Show.
The photography show provides an opportunity for artists to connect with prominent collectors, gallery owners, fellow photographers and the public, according to a release from the Fairfield Museum.
The museum invites professional, serious amateur, and student photographers from Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts to participate.

Norwalk Community College Holds Walk-In Registration For Spring Classes
NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk Community College will hold walk-in registration sessions in January for students looking to sign up for the spring 2017 semester.
Registration has been open since Nov. 1. New students can come in weekdays during business hours to register, and current students can register anytime online.
Walk-in registration sessions will be held in NCC’s East Campus Atrium on the following dates and times:
Tuesday, Jan. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 4, from 3 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 7, TBA.
