RCC Foundation Plans Golf Outing At Suffern's Spook Rock In August
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- The Rockland Community College Foundation's 33rd annual Scholarship Golf Outing and Dinner will be held Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern.The event will include a full round of golf and lunch at the Chalet, as well as dinner, raffles, auction items and many prizes awarded for play. The donation is only $199 per golfer for those who register before Monday. The donation after July 4 is $225 per golfer. Demarest Books 4 Acts For Summer Concert Series
DEMAREST, N.J.– Demarest's concerts in the park series rolls on with four Wednesday concerts lined up for July and August.The Kootz -- classic rock, pop and blues -- will perform on July 13. Soul Groove will hit the stage on July 27. The Ray Greiche Band will play some acoustic sets on Aug. 3. The concert season will end with classic rock and oldies from Diamond Jim and the Gems on Aug. 10. Performances will start at 7:30 p.m. and end by 9 p.m. All concerts will be held at the gazebo by the Demarest Duck Pond.

Students From Bronxville's Chapel School Sing At Wartburg Adult Care
BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Chapel School Choir sang for seniors at the Wartburg Adult Care Community in Mount Vernon on June 3.The choir, led by Chapel School music teacher George Heath, delighted the audience with various songs. “The energy that came into the chapel when the children arrived was fantastic,” said one attendee. KENT LAKES, N.Y. -- The Kent Public Library will kick off the Fourth of July Weekend with a Patriotic Story Time program on Saturday, July 2. People of all ages are invited to the event. Leonia Kicks Off Annual Sports Booster Carnival
LEONIA, N.J. -- The annual Leonia Sports Booster Summer Carnival will start on Thursday, June 30, and run until Sunday, July 10, at Overpeck County Park.Rides will be open from 6 - 10 p.m. on weekdays and until 11 p.m. on weekends and Monday, July 4. There will be a fireworks show on July 4 after sunset. The carnival will take place in the Henry Hoebel area of Overpeck Park along Fort Lee Road.
