See Butterflies And More On Allendale Guided Nature Walk ALLENDALE, N.J. --The Fyke Nature Association will have its annual Celery Farm Butterfly Walk Saturday, July 16, in Allendale. The walk will be in memory of late Fyke member Tom Burr, who was a naturalist and photographer. Participants will meet at the end of Green Way at 10:30 a.m. for a 90-minute stroll. Walkers should dress for the bright sun and bring water and sunscreen. People can register for the walk by e-mailing celeryfarm@gmail.com and get directions to the Celery Farm by clicking here. The Celery Farm is at Franklin Turnpike, Allendale.

Enjoy Music, Treats At Cliffside Park Night Out CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Cliffside Park National Night Out 2016 will be Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Cliffside Park Municipal Complex.The event will include the cyclone car from the famous Palisades Amusement Park, vendor and organization booths, giveaways, Bergen County Fire Safety House, bounce houses, a video game truck, face painting, temporary tattoos, arts and crafts at the Turkish Cultural Center and ice cream zeppoles. Westchester County Parks Kick Off Outdoor Movie Series With 'Minions' VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Westchester County Parks will kick off its free outdoor movie series, “Entergy Screenings under the Stars,” with a showing of 3D computer-animated family comedy "Minions" (PG, 2015) on Friday at Kenisco Dam Plaza in Valhalla.The screening will begin at 6:30 p.m. It's presented by Westchester County Parks and Sharc Events. Lewisboro Land Trust Plans Hike Through Mount Holly Sanctuary KATONAH, N.Y. -- The Lewisboro Land Trust will host a hike through the Mount Holly Sanctuary in Katonah on Sunday, July 10.Families are invited on this moderate 45-minute walk with some elevation. This hike is not suitable for those with walking or mobility restrictions. The hike will be led by Helen Peeples. It will start at 10 a.m. The trail is wooded with oak and black birch, azalea and blueberry.
