Greens Farms Academy Arts Chair Turns Bandleader For Southport Concert
SOUTHPORT, Conn. -- Pequot Library in Southport will present a Holiday Jazz concert, "A Winter Wonderland," featuring Emmy-winning composer Rex Cadwallader, on Sunday, Dec. 18.
Attendees will be treated to an afternoon of jazzy, holiday-season music presented by Cadwallader and noted Connecticut jazz musicians Steve Moran on saxophone and flute and bassist Mike Asetta.

Bridgeport Diocesan Youth 'Arise And Shine' For Holiday Concert
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. --The Diocesan Youth Choir will perform its annual Christmas Concert, "Arise and Shine," on Sunday, Dec. 18, at the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport.
Under the direction of Mary Bozzuti Higgins of Wilton, the 75-member choir will present a joyous program of Christmas songs and chants from different ages and cultures.
The choir will reprise some of last year’s favorites such as the “Arise and Shine, ”“Dark is the Silent Night,” and “Siyahamba,” as well as introduce some new Christmas music.
