Malloy Seeks To Expand Use Of Overdose Reversal Drugs In Connecticut FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- To continue the state’s efforts to combat opioid overdoses, Gov. Author Jackie Hatton Pens Sci-Fi Novel Set In Westport WESTPORT, Conn. -- Author and former Westport resident Jackie Hatton has written a science fiction novel called "Flesh & Wires" that is set in Westport. The novel follows a community of women in Saugatuck who have survived an alien invasion. Many of Westport’s familiar landmarks are featured in the book, such as the Saugatuck Rowing Club, Longshore, Cockenoe Island and the Post Road. Norwood Students Ready For Super Bowl Sunday With 'Soup-Er Bowl' NORWOOD, N.J. -- The Norwood Student Council is collecting cans of soup for the Church of the Holy Communion's food pantry. Fifth-grader Eddie Sullivan came up with the concept of having a "Soup-er Bowl" to coincide with this weekend's championship football game, with students in the K-8 school donating cans of soup. More than 200 cans had been collected as of Thursday evening. The can drive was supervised by fifth-grade teacher Marijean O'Donnell.
