An Easter Sunday crash that sent an SUV down an embankment off Route 80 in Bergen County is being investigated as a hit-and-run, New Jersey State Police said.
Troopers responded to the crash at 3:09 p.m., in the westbound lanes near milepost 61.2 in Elmwood Park, where an unknown vehicle struck the rear of a GMC SUV, causing it to hit a Mazda passenger vehicle, according to Trooper II Christopher Postorino.
