A 66-year-old man was arrested after a homeowner found him burglarizing their Dutchess County home, police said.
Marc Edmonds, 66, was taken into custody on Saturday, April 18, just before 5 p.m. after being identified during an investigation into the incident, which happened in Poughkeepsie, according to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
The arrest stems from an incident late Thursday night, April 16, when police said they were called around 11:07 p.m. to a home on Rinaldi Blvd for a reported burglary in progress.

Two Newark residents and a Maryland man were arrested and charged after a man was stabbed and a woman assaulted at a resort in Atlantic City, authorities announced Wednesday, April 15.
At 10:37 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, officers responded to the Showboat Resort and and located a 38-year-old Severn, Maryland woman who had been assaulted, Atlantic City police said. She was transferred to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
