A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Winner! North Jersey Lotto Players Split $1M Jackpot It was a lucky Saturday for lotto players in Hudson County and Bergen County. Two tickets matched all five numbers in the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot on Saturday, Nov. 25, splitting the $1.05 million jackpot, netting the winners $525,340 each. The tickets were sold at Krauszer's Food Store in Glen Rock and Lotto.com in Jersey City. The winning numbers were: 11, 23, 25, 26 and 45 and the XTRA number was: 02.

NJ Cop Airlifted In Fall From Tree Stand Suffers Broken Spine Support is on the rise for a Morris County officer who suffered a spinal injury in a fall from a tree stand, those who know him say. Mark Ehrenburg, a police sergeant in Kinnelon, was seriously injured when he fell from a tree stand while hunting in Blairstown on Friday, Nov. 24. Ehrenburg suffered from a broken spine and broken vertebrae and underwent surgery. He faces a lengthy rehab though doctors are optimistic he will walk again, his family said. Screwdriver Used In Assault Of 2 NJ Police Officers: Authorities Two Verona police officers were injured after a man in distress assaulted them with a screwdriver on Wednesday, Nov. 22, authorities said. Police initially responded to a home on Linn Drive and told the man, who was not named, he should seek assistance at a hospital, police said. The man became combative and began assaulting officers, police said. He then pulled out a screwdriver from his pocket and assaulted two officers, one in the chest and the other in the face, police said. The officers were able to handcuff the man, police said. Fair Lawn Roadhouse plans to open next month at 19-05 Fair Lawn Ave., at the former site of Petaks kosher catering, according to its website and online records. Driver Dies In Head-On Rt. 31 Crash In Hunterdon County: State Police (Update) A 56-year-old man was killed after his car collided with a truck on Route 31 in Hunterdon County on Monday, Nov. 27, state police said. Christopher Jones, of Hampton, was heading north in a Subaru when he entered the left lane going against the flow of traffic, and collided with a southbound Mack truck, head-on around 7:45 a.m. in Hampton near milepost 39, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. Jones died in the crash while the driver and passenger of the Mack tractor suffered minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation.

Newark Pair Convicted Of Murder In Drive-By Shooting: Prosecutors Two Newark men were recently convicted for their roles in which one man was killed when a group of people were shot at in May 2019, authorities said. Tymeer Gumbs, 25, and Isaiah Kane, 25, were in a stolen Dodge Durango when they pulled up to a group of men and started shooting at them at Maple and Chancellor Avenue in Newark, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. NYC Skincare Ad Paying $5K Needs Models A skincare ad filming in New York City is seeking models who will be paid $5,000. A casting director is looking for people to appear in an ad for a skin care brand shooting in early December in New York. The role pays up to $5,000 for 10 hours of work, the ad says. Man Groped Two Rutgers Students: Police A 29-year-old Hillsborough Township man was arrested and charged on Tuesday, Nov. 21 with groping two female Rutgers students in two separate incidents the night before. Pair Convicted Of Armed Robbery At Fried Chicken Joint: Prosecutors Two men were recently found guilty of robbing a customer at gunpoint at a Kennedy Fried Chicken in Irvington in 2022, authorities said. On Jan. 19, Ricotson Dolisca, a 35-year-old Irvington resident and Gary Rhymes, a 37-year-old East Orange resident were caught on video taking a customer's wallet, phone and clothes at gunpoint inside the eatery, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Three Rescued From Vehicle Trapped In Floods: Belleville PD Three people were rescued after their vehicle got stuck on a flooded roadway in Belleville early Wednesday morning, Nov. 22. At 5:10 a.m., Belleville police were notified of a vehicle stuck on a flooded roadway near 525 Main St, officers said. Police found a 2014 Dodge Durango with three occupants inside and along with the fire department, were able to safely remove the occupants, officers said. The vehicle was subsequently towed, police said. The roadway was eventually reopened, police said.
