At 2:32 a.m., first responders in Croton-on-Hudson responded to a report of a pedestrian lying in the roadway on Route 9 and transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Croton police said.  Using pieces of the vehicle found in the roadway, the driver of the car was identified as Edisson E. Driver Dies After Medical Episode On Route 287: State Police A 53-year-old Bernardsville man died after suffering a medical episode on Route 287 in Morrison County on Tuesday, Jan. 2, New Jersey State Police said. At 5:10 p.m., troopers responded to the southbound side at milepost in 38 in Hanover Township and found the driver of a Chevy pickup, who has not been identified, having the medical emergency, Trooper Troy McNair said.  He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, McNair said.

Men Who Passed Counterfeit $100 Bills Sought In Warren County Two men passed counterfeit $100 bills at two local businesses in Warren County last month, Washington Township police said. Washington Township Police are attempting to locate the two unidentified Black men and said other agencies throughout the state have seen the same men passing counterfeit $100 bills. "If you work for or own a small business, please use caution when accepting larger bills," Washington Township police said on Facebook.
