New Rochelle School District Moves Forward With Capital Construction Work
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The City School District of New Rochelle is moving ahead with the second phase of a four-part, four-year construction project that will restore aging school buildings and ensure healthy and safe facilities for students and staff, the district recently announced. The first phase of the project, which included restoration work at Barnard Elementary and Daniel Webster Elementary, was completed on time and on budget in early 2017 at a cost of approximately $6 million, according to a release from the district. PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Ana Malfa, a senior at Pleasantville High School, won a first-place award in Medicine and Health at the Westchester Science and Engineering Fair (WESEF), held on Saturday, March 4, at Sleepy Hollow High School.
