Clarkstown North's Robotics Tourney Achievement Draws Recognition NEW CITY, N.Y. --  Rockland County Executive Ed Day congratulated Clarkstown High School North for taking home the Rookie All Star Award at the Hudson Valley Regional FIRST Robotics competition, held on March 24 - 26. Students from Clarkstown North were among 47 teams of high school students from the U.S. and Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, India, Turkey and the United Kingdom that competed during two days at Rockland Community College. Rockland Community College Student Wins National Coca-Cola Scholarship ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Rockland Community College student Emma Colchamiro was named a 2017 Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Bronze Scholar, receiving a special medallion and a $1,000 scholarship. Colchamiro, who will graduate this May, is one of just 150 community college students in the country to receive an award and scholarship from the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.
