Northern Valley High School Model UN Club Named 'Best Small Delegation' OLD TAPPAN, N.J. -- Bruce Sabatini, principal at Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan, announced the NVOT Model UN Club, advised by Denise Molinaro, participated in a conference at the Bergen Academies Feb. 4-5.The NVOT Model UN Club received the award for Best Small Delegation. More than 20 schools and more than 400 student delegates participated. The following students were recognized: Hae Sung Jang - Verbal Commendation; Sewon Lim, and Annie Jang - Honorable Delegates; Amelia Antzoulatos and Varsha Vijayakumar - Outstanding Delegates.

County Begins Repairs On Teaneck's Anderson Street Bridge TEACNECK, N.J. -- The County of Bergen is beginning interim repairs to the Anderson Street Bridge. The repairs are a temporary remedy until such time that either a permanent repair or bridge replacement is made. Initially, eastbound lanes will be closed to traffic for approximately 90 days while repairs are made. On or about May 16, eastbound lanes will reopen and westbound lanes will be closed. The project is scheduled to be completed by June 28. Motorists should plan accordingly.
