Greenburgh Police Charge Teen In Car Break-In Spree
GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The third suspect wanted in a rash of car break-ins in Greenburgh has been arrested, police said.
Isaiah Bellamy, 19, of the Bronx, was charged Friday with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, and petty larceny, a misdemeanor, police said.
He was sent to Westchester County Jail, police said.
Further information was unavailable.
Already charged in the case were Troy G. Johnson and Kahlid Anderson, both of the Bronx.
An off-duty police officer came upon three men breaking into a car in the town’s Beaver Hill section about 3 a.m. July 12.

Haverstraw Man About To Get Village's First Chicken Permit
HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- Six months may seem like a long time to wait for an omelette, but one Haverstraw man thinks it will be well worth it.
Ariel Moronta was in Tractor Supply Co. in Stony Point this spring when the sound of peeping lured him over to the rural lifestyle chain’s tubs of fluffy, yellow chicks.
“They were so small, and cute,” he said, laughing, adding: “Then they grow up, and you have to clean up after them.”
Moronta is now the proud papa of several nearly grown chickens, and six months or so from now, he should be getting eggs from them.

Unity, Music At DMX Homecoming Concert In White Plains
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Westchester native DMX returned to his home turf this weekend for a musical performance in White Plains that both thrilled, and uplifted, fans, according to a report by lohud.com.
The hip-hop artist and actor, aka Earl Simmons, was born in Mount Vernon, but raised in Yonkers.
Racial tensions roiling the country didn’t squash the concert’s message of unity and having a good time, lohud.com reported.
Fans told lohud.com that they were there not only to enjoy the show but to support DMX, who is making a comeback after a series of legal and personal woes.
