MetLife Stadium announced Ed Sheeran's two shows, on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11, will remain on as scheduled. Sheeran is performing at Me Life as part of his +–=÷× Tour (pronounced the Mathematics Tour) with opening acts Khalid and Dylan. Newark Woman Fatally Stabbed: Prosecutors A 66-year-old Newark woman was fatally stabbed on Wednesday afternoon, June 7, authorities said. Police responded to the 200 block of Sunset Avenue and found Annie Gooden suffering from apparent stab wounds,  Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Changzhu Lu, 42 and Tung Wong, 57, both Brooklyn residents were spotted by the officer picking up a package from a porch of a home on the 1700 block of Dill Avenue, police said. A Jersey City native, Cecchini taught special education for 35 years, his obituary reads. Community Rallies Around Ailing Essex County Police Officer Johnnie Rodriguez is in for the fight of his life.  Rodriguez, a police officer with the Essex County Department Of Corrections was diagnosed with POEMS syndrome and myeloma cancer in Oct. 2022. POEMS syndrome is a rare blood disorder that damages nerves and affects other parts of the body, according to the Mayo Clinic.  The police officer has recently begun infusion treatments and chemotherapy, along with stem cell transplant, that will put him out of action for six months.
