WWE Hall Of Famer, Monmouth County Native Pleads No Contest To Fatal DUI Crash Tammy Sytch, a Monmouth County native, who rose to prominence in the 1990s as a manager in the World Wrestling Federation, has pleaded no contest to driving drunk and killing a 75-year-old man in Florida last year according to court documents. Sytch, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011, faces up to 25 years in prison when she is sentenced in November. Sytch has had numerous brushes with the law since her wrestling career ended, including being arrested for six DWIs in a four-year span. Fired Wayne Officer Claiming Retaliation, Sexual Harassment Seeks Reinstatement A former Wayne police officer said she was fired for filing a sexual harassment lawsuit. Now, she wants her job back. In her most recent lawsuit filed in Passaic County Superior Court Friday, Aug. 2, Christie Ohlendorf is seeking to have her job restored. Maui Wildfires: Union County Woman Rallies Around Friend Loraine Anderson had to watch as wildfires tore through Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. The Berkeley Heights resident has created a fundraiser to assist one of her closest friends, Mokihana Gushi, who lives in Lahaina. As of Wednesday, August 16, more than $12,100 has been raised. Maui Wildfires: Bloomfield Man Helps Friends In Hawaii Joseph Franco's friends and BJJ teammates have seen the devastation of the Maui wildfires firsthand. Now Franco, a Bloomfield resident is doing what he can to help. A fundraiser has been created to assist Joe and Yehia Refando, Maui residents, who lost their home and all their possessions in the wildfire. Four Jersey City Juveniles Arrested For Overnight Car Burglaries: Linden PD Four Jersey City juveniles were arrested and charged with breaking into vehicles on the early morning of Saturday, August 12, authorities said. Officers first received a report of a burglary at 3:30 a.m. when a resident reported someone attempting to enter her vehicle, Captain Christopher Guenther said. Traffic Enforcement Officer Suffers Fractured Hip In Jersey City Crash With SUV: Authorities A Jersey City traffic enforcement officer suffered a fractured hip when the scooter she was riding was struck by an SUV on Tuesday, Aug. 15, authorities said. Teen Sexually Assaulted Rahway Woman: Authorities Elijah Finis, an 18-year-old Woodbridge teenager was charged Tuesday, August 15 with sexually assaulting a Rahway woman on Thursday, August 10, authorities said. The convenience store celebrated the opening of its new 5,868 square-foot store at 235 Route 10 East in East Hanover on Tuesday, Aug. 15. Four Firefighters Injured After Blaze Damages Historic Church Grace Presbyterian Church, a 99-year-old Montclair institution, suffered extensive damage after a three-alarm fire tore the building on Tuesday morning, August 15. Montclair firefighters rushed to Grove Street and Tuxedo Road at 8 a.m. and found the fire reaching from the basement to the roofline at the back of the church, Deputy Chief Robert Duncan said.
