At 5:29 p.m., firefighters responded to 1120 Weber St. for a house fire, Union Township Fire Chief Greg Ricciardi said. Train Cars Overturn After Derailment: Linden PD A 90+ tank railcar train derailed in Linden on the morning of Thursday, Feb. 15, police said. At 7 a.m., police responded to reports of a train derailment near Tremley Point Road and found an industrial tank railcar stopped on the tracks near the Conrail Garden State Secondary line at Road to Grasselli, officers said. Business Partner Dies By Suicide In Jersey City Mall: Officials A 45-year-old man hanged himself at the Hudson Mall in Jersey City on Tuesday, Feb. 13, authorities said. The man, who has not been identified by police, was a partner in the Rieval thrift store inside the mall, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said.  He was discovered by his business partners, Wallace-Scalfione said. An apparent suicide note was left behind by the man, Wallace-Scalfione said. Valentine's Day Crash Leaves One Dead In Essex County (Updated) UPDATE: The victim has been ID'ed as 22-year-old Wiston Perlaza. One person was killed in a motor vehicle crash in Nutley on the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 14, police said. The hit-and-run motor vehicle crash occurred at 7 p.m. at Milton Avenue at the Garden State Parkway overpass, Nutley police said.  Nutley police and the Essex County Prosecutors Office are working to identify the perpetrator, officers said.
