Posh Pets In Greenburgh Seeks Volunteers
GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Posh Pets Rescue in Greenburgh is looking for reliable and consistent volunteers to help with its Cat Room. Volunteers are needed to clean, socialize and play with the cats and kittens in Posh Pets' care. People are needed in the mornings between 6 and 10 a.m. and the evenings between 4 and 7 p.m. Posh Pets also needs volunteers to help with its weekend adoption events. Support Ridgefield Park Soccer At Carwash
RIDGEFIELD, N.J. -- The Ridgefield Park Soccer Association will hold its first carwash fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 6.The carwash will be held in the Brewster Park parking lot, next to the ambulance building (50 Main St., Ridgefield Park). The cost is $5 for cars and $7 for trucks and SUVs. The carwash will be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Bergenfield Student's Artwork Chosen For Fall Exhibit
BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Hoover Elementary School student Nitya Malhotra's artwork was selected for the prestigious New Jersey Performing Arts Center/Art Educators of New Jersey Fall Exhibit. Malhotra's work is one of only 18 pieces selected from across the state in a contest that saw student participation ranging from elementary to high school.
