Fava reminds Westport residents that from Saturday, Oct. 1 to March 31, 2017, dogs will be allowed in certain areas at Compo Beach.During that time, the following regulations will be in effect: Animal Control Enforcement and Leash Restriction – Compo Beach. Dogs are prohibited from the pavilion, playground and boardwalk. All dogs must be leashed in all areas of the park except in the designated off-leash area of the beach south of Pavilion, including South Beach.
