Monroe Library Offers Free Resume Advice
MONROE, Conn. -- The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe will host a free resume advice program Monday, Feb. 22.Get individualized resume advice from a state Department of Labor career specialist. To sign up for a 20-minute resume review, please call the library's reference desk at 203-452-2852. Participants must create an account on the Department of Labor's website in order to attend the program. The program is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The library is at 733 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe.

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- It may be February, but Mahopac High School’s steel-drum band brought the warmth of the islands to Fulmar Road Elementary School when they performed recently for students. MONTROSE, N.Y. -- Hendrick Hudson High School senior Gabby Picciano has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Pace University. Picciano, who will graduate this June, was a two-time All Section soccer player, earning those accolades as a sophomore and junior.
