Columbus School Students, Families Build 'Leprechaun Traps' NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The month of March family project at Columbus Elementary School in New Rochelle involved building "leprechaun traps."Students created blueprints for the traps in class and brought them home to engineer and build with the help of their families.  Each student concluded the project by writing about the traps and how they were made.

Upper Saddle River Volunteer Fire Department Cancels Car Show UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- The Upper Saddle River Fire Department is cancelling its 2016 car show, due to an unexpected loss of venue. "We sincerely appreciate all of you who have participated in our event for the past 15 years," event organizers noted in a Wednesday, April 6, Facebook post. "If circumstances change, we will reschedule later on in the season." Those who preregistered will receive refunds. Organizers also apologized for any inconvenience and urged that folks participate in other area car shows sponsored by other volunteer organizations.
