Tractor-Trailer Stolen In Rockland Valued At $180K
CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Clarkstown police are still searching for a man who made off with a $180,000 tractor-trailer last week.
The black 2005 Peterbilt truck was taken from a parking lot at 52 Snake Hill Road in West Nyack early Friday, July 1, police said.
Security video shows the suspect, a white or Hispanic man with a slight beard and mustache, walking across the lot, and then, seconds later, the truck being driven off.
The suspect was wearing a black “Sox” baseball cap, long-sleeved T-shirt, jeans and white sneakers.

Second Suspect Arrested In Theft Of Assault Rifle From State Trooper's Car
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A second suspect has been arrested in the theft of an police-issue assault rifle, ammunition and a bullet-proof vest from a Connecticut state trooper’s cruiser in Milford early last spring.
Leandre Crockett, 18, of Hamden, is facing numerous larceny, firearms trafficking and conspiracy charges in connection with the March 8 thefts, police said.
He was arrested Wednesday.
Also arrested in the case is Travis Ingram, 20, of New Haven. State police say more arrests are expected.

Portions are huge at the family-friendly Greek restaurant, but it needs to slow down the delivery of food a tad to allow in-house diners to savor their meals, and could spice things up a bit with more garlic in certain dishes, The New York Times review said.

Shrub Oak Man, 21, Tries To Take Pistol From Officer, Police Say
YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Shrub Oak man is facing multiple charges after he tried to grab a probation officer’s gun, authorities said.
Sean Deleon, 21, hid in the attic of his East Main Street home when law enforcement officers arrived in June to arrest him for violating probation in another case, Yorktown police said.
When he was found, Deleon pounced on one of the officers and managed to run outside where he was confronted by the others, police said.
He continued to resist arrest, at one point trying to snatch a holstered pistol, but was eventually subdued and cuffed, police said.
