Boughton Back On Job After Collapsing At GOP Gubernatorial Candidates Event Mark Boughton is back on the job just in time for St. Patrick's Day.The 54-year-old Boughton, Danbury’s longest-serving mayor, was hospitalized after collapsing from dehydration at an event Thursday for Republican gubernatorial candidates. Boughton was rushed to the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington after the incident at the meet-and-greet for GOP candidates in Avon. Boughton was treated for a benign brain tumor last year, but the Thursday incident was unrelated.
