Small Plane Crashes In Hunterdon County
A small plane crashed in a Hunterdon County field on Monday afternoon, May 20, authorities confirmed.
The fixed-wing, single-engine plane landed in a large hay field off of Ellis Road in Holland Township around 4:25 p.m., the county prosecutor's office said.
The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the plane, sustained minor injuries and was treated on-site by the Milford-Holland Rescue Squad. There were no reported injuries on the ground.

A $500 reward is being offered after a threw a rock, breaking windows of a Hunterdon County train station on twice on Saturday, April 27, authorities said.
At 5:54 a.m., surveillance footage from a nearby business shows the man picking up a rock and throwing it at the rear windows of the Lebanon train station, causing them to crack, NJ Transit police said.
He came back about 12 hours later, picked up a rock, and again threw it at windows, causing additional damage, NJ Transit police said.

Driver, 44, Airlifted When Vehicle Overturns On Route 78 In Hunterdon County: Njsp
A 44-year-old Cranford man was airlifted to a nearby hospital after his vehicle overturned on Route 78 in Hunterdon County on the evening of Sunday, April 28, authorities said.
At 7:07 p.m., a GMC SUV was traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Union Township when the driver lost control, ran off the roadway and overturned, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
The man sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
